After using social media for 6 years, I sometimes still don’t get what others use it for. Showing your talent? Great. Showing your achievement and traveling? Inspiring. Showing your love and lover? Awesome. Showing what you eat? Weird, but acceptable. But showing your wealth and money and all those stuff? C’mon, it makes you look stupid. Like, “should I buy this LV, or I better buy Dior? You know, my Balenciaga bag is little last season so I think I need change.” How shallow. Buy all. If you’re rich enough, that wouldn’t be a problem (and yet if you’re rich enough, and your understanding of price and value is good enough, you’d probably just buy it without telling the world).

Real rich people don’t really brag. And once a product appears in magazine or being worn by celebrity, they don’t want it anymore. Coz they know not only the price, but also value of scarcity and exclusivity. – Read on Path.

Showing off stuff which is NOT yours aint cool. AT ALL. Bragging about food, okay, as long as it’s yours, it’s acceptable. But swagging cars and money (by showing how much your annual tax is-oh god could it be uglier?) is just not cool. You pay tax, that’s good. You show people that you pay tax, that’s GREAT. Empowering. Encouraging. But showing the amount? That’s ridiculous. And it’s not even your money! It’s your sugar daddy’s money, for god’s sake. Yeah you have it, maybe, but you don’t work your ass to earn it (maybe literally, yes, but you know what I mean. REAL job from where the bunch of money come from).
So just stop it. It doesn’t do anything but humiliate yourself, showing how insecure and fragile you are, that you have to show how much your husband makes a year to get attention. So sad that your confidence is based on something you don’t earn.. – Read on Path.
